PFS' charitable donation to Anthony Nolan

Every 14 minutes, someone in the UK is diagnosed with blood cancer… Anthony Nolan is a charity that aims to save the lives of people with blood cancer and blood disorders by making lifesaving connections between patients in need and incredible strangers ready to donate their stem cells. One of our amazing colleagues, Jonathan Lawton, signed up with Anthony Nolan over a decade ago in hopes to be able to donate stem cells and help someone with cancer. It was not until a few months ago when he had received a call to say he was a potential match. Jon travelled to London where he was hooked up to an apheresis machine for four hours for the extraction process, which he described as mostly painless... but extremely rewarding to help save a life! PFS was proud to support Jonathan with his contribution and a donation to the Anthony Nolan Trust.
