PFS Latest Charitable Donation To Naseems Manx Brain Tumour Charity

Pacific Fund Systems (PFS) is a privately owned technology company that supports the investment fund accounting and fund administration industry via our award winning PFS-PAXUS system. As part of our CSR initiative, we aim to be a responsible corporate entity, with our CSR committee meeting regularly to discuss and identify local charities that we can support. Of course, there are so many worthwhile charities it can be hard to choose, although sadly our latest charitable donation was one close to our heart, with a donation of £1000 being made to Naseem’s Manx Brain Tumour Charity. Naseem’s Brain Tumour Charity is a charity that is dedicated to helping everyone affected by brain tumours on the Isle of Man. The Charity was set up in 2009, by Naseem who was a brain tumour sufferer. Since then, the charity has worked with Clatterbridge Cancer Charity, The Brain Tumour Charity, Liverpool University and Salford University donating thousands of pounds into brain tumour research to find ways of detecting the disease, investigations into different types of tumours and the effectiveness of various treatments. They continue to promote brain tumour awareness on the Island and offer financial support to everyone affected by a brain tumour through their grant process. This donation was made in memory of a former colleague who had sadly lost his battle with this disease, and who will forever be in our thoughts and hearts.
